A British woman is lobbying for the release of her new husband, Karim Ennarah who was arrested while on a Red Sea holiday with friends, where she had intended to join him in a few days.

Radha Stirling, who represented Tony Camoccio when he was detained in Cairo, discussed Karim's case in a Facebook Live Broadcast today.

Stirling, who founded Detained in Dubai in 2008 and who partnered with a Cairo law firm, discussed Egypt's terrible human rights record, the censorship and punishment of journalists, bloggers and activists as well as the misuse of Interpol's database against opponents.

Stirling also touches on cancel culture and free speech in the West and the importance of open debate and discussion.
